PORTUGAL Writer, journalist, editor, film and music critic, member of FIPRESCI, he has written on cinema, music, and literature for publications including JL – Jornal de Letras, Artes e Ideias and Visão. He is the founder and director of the literary magazine A Morte do Artista. His work has also extended to radio, television, literature, and audiovisual performance. He created the radio programmes Juke Box and Contos para Pulares, authored the television programme Best of Cinema, and published several books spanning fiction, theatre, essays, and chronicles. He also performs as a VJ in collaboration with Luís Varatojo. He studied Communication Sciences at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and later completed postgraduate studies in film criticism and pop music. He was awarded the José Rodrigues Miguéis Grant by Luso-American Development Foundation and the Gabriel García Márquez Fellowship in Cartagena de Indias.
