Shirin Mehrotra is a Delhi-based writer and anthropologist. Her writing intersects food, society, culture and migration. Her work has been published in various international and Indian publications including Feminist Food Journal, Whetstone Magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, Roads & Kingdoms and Nat Geo Traveller among others. Shirin holds a master's degree in Anthropology of Food from Soas University, London and is the recipient of the HWR Khozem Merchant Fellowship 2025 for her upcoming book of non-fiction.
